Factory capacity is 4800 cane crushing capacity per day and 14.8 MW co-generation project is currently in operation. The factory has recycled a large amount of water to minimize the discharge of wastewater.
EFFLUENT TREATMENT PLANT
The wastewater treatment plants in the factory have a capacity of 500 cubic meters per day and are equipped with primary, secondary and tertiary processing units. The factory has recycled a large amount of water to minimize the discharge of wastewater.
CONDENSING POLISHING UNIT (SUGAR)
The factory provides an updated condensate polishing unit with a capacity of 25 cubic meters per hour for the factory to process the evaporated water from the sugarcane to recycle about 66 to 70 per cent of the water in the sugarcane.
Electro Static Precipitator (ESP)
The factory has installed air pollution control system Electro Static precipitator (ESP) to control air pollution emitted from the factory.
Its efficiency is 99.98% and the internal components of pollution come in proportion to Maharashtra Pollution Control Board and Central Pollution Control Board.
Air Cooled Condenser
Cooling tower make-up in factories requires a lot of water, so the factory installs air-cooled condensers, saving water from 23 tons per hour.
The factory has set up an up-to-date sewage treatment plant to treat the effluent from the colony, from which the treated water is fully utilized for toilet flushing.
Similarly, the factory has planted more than 33 per cent of the total factory area in an effort to maintain environmental balance.
Factory Rooftop Rain Water Harvesting Site
The factory uses the sugar godown factory building to store the rain water and the water is taken in a tank and used in the factory.
The outgoing biogas is fed to the boiler. The bio-methanated spentwash from biogas is given to a multi-effect evaporation system of 6 to 7 brix and is concentrated up to 45 brix. The concentrated spent wash is fed to the boiler for complete combustion.
CONDENSATE POLISHING UNIT (DISTILLERY)
In Evaporation system The evaporated water is fed to the updated condensate polishing unit. The treated water from it is again fully used in the distillation project.
AIR COOLED CONDENSER SYSTEM
Also distillery plant distillation column evaporation column cooling purpose using advanced technology Air Cooled Condenser instead of water cooling system due to this saving of water 2.5-3.0 lac liter per day. This is the one of the best technology for saving water.
An online monitoring system and web camera has been installed as per the rules of Maharashtra Pollution Control Board and Central Pollution Control Board and it has been connected to the server of Maharashtra Pollution Control Board and Central Pollution Control Board for zero liquid discharge as per their rules has been adopted.
